I'll just look at it. I'm starting to feel like moving on again. Maybe just one of those days.

I really want to finish wodal and one last AoR mod then have the Endeavor Mod move on to another game.

Just played game, how the hell do you kill that flying basterd after you entered the door when you fixed the keybad and you needed to sneak?

Anyhow, I find the hand thing very handy, but in the mid of a battlel ike that flying rat... it was all to hectic to use it... got hirt al ots cause I couldn't open the door cause it was trying to avoid dmg, and the monster wan't exacly giving me the time to find the correct mouse movement for the door :-p

I used dynamite on it. The first encounter was easy. I knew right off what to do. The second one was a little tougher. I kept blowing myself up with dynamite.

You have to left-click and hold down the button as you move your mouse around. It's heavely physics based.

I noticed that it uses .dae files for BOTH models and levels. I checked blender3d and it DOES import/export .dae files so I can make new levels and stuff for it if I wanted to eventhough penumbra recommends 3ds Max. I can't afford it right now so I'll stick with Blender.

You need the acid compound to open that one. It involves mixing a fumey liquid with a chemical powder. Both items need to be found and combined together then you can open that locker.

I did find that this game angin is pretty steep on its performance. Either theres a lots of unneeded code, or that interaction thing takes a lots of cpu. I can pla y fear on the lowwer high settings, but this game lags with me once I play with antistropique

anisotropy doesn't do anything for me. I wonder if it's implimented correctly. I just stick with antialias.

Ok I have investigated further into the modding aspect of the penumbra game. It appears that all models and maps have to made using a modeling program like Blender3d or 3dsMax(recommended). I'm currently having issues with the plugin needed to create content for the game and am seeking assistance from the plugin builder on this topic:

http://colladablender.illusoft.com/phorum/read.php?2,55

This might be a long shot if the issues can't be fixed then I guess I'll be sticking with doom3, but if the issues can be fixed, I'll probably consider making stuff for this game even though it has no multiplayer feature.
