Redemption and Wav Files??
« on: 2009-05-10, 13:48:12 »
I didnt know where to post this, but seems that remeption does play a resample and bit type of wav files and some times it will not play others...

Question, what specific Sample and Bit does redemption use? i been trying on 22,050 16 Bit Mono and it seems to work for SOME wav files... i have no idea what is causing this, but seems redemption will sometimes play this type of files and sometimes it dosent... WTH?

Any ideas?

I already Ripped all the Witch/L4D files as 22,050 16 Bit Mono, but when trying to rip Tank wav files as 22,050 16 Bit Mono the Foley will not play them on redemption or sometimes the game will crash when playing one of the Tank files...

HELP?

This is rather ODD, i just changed the Wav file (Example) Tank_Pain_03.wav to T_pain_03.wav, did the same thing in the foley and removed each string that cointain "Tank" to "T_" and it worked!

Seems Redemption dosent likes Having "Tank" as wav files in the foleys... strange.

Interesting. I messed with the sound files only once, changing the background music to NIN, RATM ect. Then I realized it was silly because every time I entered a new area of the same level, the music would reset and start from the beginning.
