Since there's only going to be two of us playing via LAN, probably, I did a reskin of a character I found on the web. I've been careful of too many NOB files, just in case, in the warnings I've come across. Probably an artist thing, but I wanted to make my character my own, and will do the same for my friend.
I looked into AoRt because plays Single Player as multi. I downloaded an older copy of the same thing, but it was buggy for me. I'd crash as soon as I tried to speak to Anezka the first time. I was delighted to find out you had one on the site with the bugs out and playable. With just a few modifications and some STing I'll be able to introduce my non-video gamer friend to it so she can learn how to move people on the screen and all the things I take for granted.
But what I really, really thought was cool was when I picked up the finger bone while I was testing it and I saw my character instead of Christof! My very own character was kind of part of a cut scene.
That was just cool!
(Yeah yeah, maybe I'm easily impressed and I don't play that many video games myself, but someone had to figure out how to do that and make it work. I appreciate it. The detail didn't go unnoticed at all.)
