Funny that you post it now because I started study of animation now and it includes stop motion.
and this is a very disturbed interpretation of Mark Twain.. I found it rather disturbing in how he seduces these children and then destroy their innocence and its kind of hard and while the stated communist /anti-capitalist message about humans is true to some extent whoever made it present it as some sick villianous pedophilic psychopath .. So it seems like some sort of capitalistic propoganda against socialism/capitalism that hides behind the whole thing.
Thats one interpretation anyway.
From the god/satan stand point it seems foolish to assume he cares any for greed.
This whole thing was banned because its definitly not for children.
