Vampire Tutorials Chronicle Sounds
There are a couple of ways to achieve this that I have found over the years, both reasonably simple and you don't even need to know how to use embrace (nodsdk) !
Method I
Perhaps the simplest of all is this one, open your Vampire The Masquerade\Sounds\Music folder and find a track you want to change ie Vienna_Orsi (more commonly known as the music for Princes Mansion).
Then find the mp3 you wish to change it to anywhere on your hard drive eg wish.mp3 copy the mp3 to your desktop or a seperate folder, right click on it select Properties then where you see the name of the track right click on it select it all and backspace, then put in its place Vienna_Orsi. Then all you do is drag that file into the music folder, it it will then ask if you wish to replace the original file, say yes and it should be done .
Also please note that this way also means that any map/chron file that uses Vienna_Orsi for its music will play the modified file.
Method II
This is slightly more complicated as you need to track the file that holds all the information for the chron/map, this can be located in your vampire the masquerade\scenes folder.
Open the scene file with notepag or a simular text editor, you will be presented with a load of unreadable text, scroll down to the bottom (or there abouts) and you will see a filename followed by .mp3, once you find it just simply replace the file name with whatever mp3 file you want to play in game then save it, you will also see the amb.mp3 there too so if you wish to change that then find the appropriate file in your sounds\ambient folder and put it in same as the music file.
IMPORTANT
make sure that you have the mp3 files you wish to use in your vampire the masquerade\sounds\music folder otherwise they wont work.
