New MOD under way

Hey all, just thought I should drop a line here to let you all know I have resurected the Gaze MOD. I have drasticly changed the direction (thanks to Jakus for the idea ) and decided to go with a Redemption - Bloodlines bridge mod. IE. make a filler mod between Redemption and bloodlines. Darklobo's awesome bloodlines megapack means we can add almost any Bloodlines character we want and I have already started work on remodeling some of Redemptions characters. Here is a very early WIP of Christoff



The beauty of this idea is that we can use existing maps from modern day redemption. Obviously I plan on updating a lot of the textures and adding some new props and the like to them aswell. This will save us a lot of effort and should mean we can get the mod out fairly quickly. I am planning on setting the mod in New York. The mod is open to all who want to contribute and there is no secrecy this time around. As yet there is no real story other than the "boss" you have to fight to complete the mod will be our good old buddy Christoff, the evil Christoff that diablerized hehehe.

Well, thats it for now, I'll post updates arround the various forums as and when I have new info/ assets to show

Hehe, yeah, my last idea was a little too ambitious  lol

I figured I'd keep it simple this time around   Still, I learned a lot from my last project even though it never really got started properly. I know a lot more now than I did then, a hell of a lot more. At the end of the day, no project is a waste of time.

Projects as large as you planned Xalthar, no mather what game, always take a few years to complete, Take Noir mod for example, it was sposed to be a whole new XP. It could've been, but the team took too much on their fork.

I still hope of seeing that one Model ingame tho, damn, best model in Redemption I've ever seen.

3ds Max 8 and Freeja for export when its ready
Its a completely new model that I made using printscreens of the origional as reference for proportion.

I think I'll call the face and hair done for now and move on to the body.

AWSOME... but his eyes are a bit small... So far looks awsome.

Hehehe, those were almost the exact same images I used as reffs lol

I have embelished on the features a bit and made them more realistic rather than go for an exact likeness



I did a bit of tweaking on the texture and model I have also finished the body and am unwrapping the UVs.

well, I've roughed out the clothes now, just need to add the details etc..

Well, thats it, the model and textures are finally done Now to figure out how to rig in Freeja.... Man, I hate having to learn new apps with poor documentation and no tutos
