EXP is gained through participation in combat and through spell/skill uses. There are also clans that don't gain exp despite exp being on. Be sure to check the Clan EXP Gain chart in the readme for a reference on how certain clans gain exp.

Emod doesn't give kill points like the normal game does. It gives exp based on your actions and what your clan/class allows.

Problem with AOR...
I must be doing something wrong. i installed the latest version of the mod but the chronicles aren't showing up when I get online. I was trying to host a game with 2 other people this evening and everything went but because I'm having this problem. I don't recall having this issue before this. I do however see them in the chronicle folder. Shit...

Make sure you installed the mod into your main vampire-redemption folder. -The installer does not automatically know where your vamp directory is.
Make sure you use the aor shortcuts and NOT the normal shortcuts.

You should be looking for an AoRMod folder and not a chronicles folder in your main vampire-redemption directory.

Hope that helps.

Unfortunately it didn't work. I installed the mod into the main directory, browsing. It's on a seperate drive. I actually did a fresh install moments ago and I'm having the same problem. The aor mod has a seperate folder. Also, the MP chronicles are listed in the chronicles folder, I just can't see them online when I get there. I created a seperate shortcut on my desktop for aor and I've tried it hitting the Vampire_aor button directly but I'm having the same problem. Frustrating...

It shows prague.NMF in the chronicle folder:

Here are a couple of pics that show what I'm talking about.

You got it wrong then, there should be some new maps there, I would like to show you alas I had to reinstall windows cause of a freeze bug, and I haven't had time to reinstall vamp, but there should be some

-New york
-London
-prauge
-Vienna
-Prauge 2 (I think)

maps there.

make shure you

- Installed VTR:M Correctly
- Installed the 1.1 patch
- Installed AOR IN THE VTR:M DIR.
- You checked that there are no double maps (like Maps and Maps1)
- You started the game using the Shortcut provided.

You are correct but prague and prague 2 are listed there. One of the pragues had the AI set so the civilians would attack enemy vampires. It also has NY and the others. The ones that are empty have _Null after them. Also, I did a fresh install of XP Pro last week and I followed all the steps outlines, that's what is confusing me. Thanks though.

I feel so freaking stupid.... I was shortcutting the exe file and then attaching the icon instead of using the shortcut in the startmenu. The startmentu shortcut has the command line "-useraormod". AAAAAGGHH!!!.

I'm getting raged on the internet....lol.

lol, I hear ya. We've been playing quite a bit the last couple of nights. One night I just posted I was playing in PV and a couple people joined. Then I deleted the topic when I left. I just off AOR a few minutes ago actually. Crazylegs and Mike Moose were on and we played a few hours.

Whatever, lol. I wasn't able to do it on an ATI X800 and now I'm running 2x GeForce7800GTX on SLI. I don't know what else I can do to make it work. Is it because I always play at 1600 x 1200?

Anyway, I'm sure the vids will be great, we had some fun that night. I wish Mike Moose was on because he plays a werewolf skin and when he arms a flashlight, the light comes out of a "not so desired" region... lol. We follow his lead and he lights the way, if you know what I mean...  ;)
