Gosh whats up there with Japan and theyre dumb and blind vision for anything that is not japanese... whenever you ask a japanese about Xbox or something non-japanese they totally bash it! FAN BOYS! you should read what they think of xbox... IS JUST SAD.

I rather be with Xbox360 than PS3, PS3 is just more of the same...  with better graphics and expensive hardware... i REALLY HOPE PS3 gets destroyed this new Generation... someone has to stop Sony PS3 Arrogance... dont care who it is... but i support Wii and Xbox360.

Nintendo comes from Japan too. Actually, the Xbox is the first American made system ever to gain any remote respect from the Japanese gaming community so cheer up.

When I look at the PS3 price, I become more and more concerned as to the direction of sony. Nintendo is going the right direction. Console systems are supposed to be CHEAP. The more I look at the PS3, the more I want a Wii or Xbox.

Also note that Wii will be able to play gamecube games so I'll be curious as to how my Resident Evil 4 reacts to the Wii control. I wonder if I'll be able to aim with the remote...

I'll be testing my gamecube games out once I get Wii.

And as far as I know, your res evil will play like the gamecube. only that your controll will be more movable.

I know, Wii is Japanese too... but you never seen Nintendo going all Arrogant and stuff... Nintendo always like to Innovate and create FUN games... too bad most of them are kiddy... but hey! i am a Great fan of Mario Titles, the ones i most enjoyed was Mario Kart series... man iwish there was a way to play 64 online... NO ONE CANT BEAT ME IN THAT GAME HAHAHA.

I'm looking forward to the new Zelda for Wii so I'm all good. As for RE4, I'm hoping that control works for it. I don't expect a graphics boost, but hey, I think RE4 had good graphics as is.

Rain, you can use gamecube controllers on the Wii. It has a flap somewhere on it that has 4 gamecube ports underneath. The small disc slides into the front autoloader and somehow the Wii can tell the difference between a normal dvd-sized disc and the mini ones the GC uses.

Te PS3 is no more powerful than a 360 at the end of the day, the games look no different. Who gives a fuck if it can throw around more polygons or whatever if the games look and play the same as something thats on the 360. Hopefully, Sony will get a HUGE kick up the arse this generation...they need it after i read what Ken Kutaragi said about people "willing to pay for something that is good". Thing is ive already paid for something that is good...a 360. The PS3 even copies Xbox LIVE down to the smallest detail...just with different names for the features.

Im not a MS fanboy or anything, ive had both a PS1 & a PS2...i just dont like being told by mad Japs that i love to wait for things and love to pay LOADS for something!

Hmm... im really getting a Wii... i want one!!! by the way... this Joystick... will you be able to play all games with the generic joy? or you need that new tv remote thingy?

Not sure mate. I know that on Call of Duty 3 for example, the two weird controllers are used to aim directly like with a mouse and to lean around corners. Not sure where the generic pad comes in at all...i didnt even know it existed until recently.

I might get a Nintendo DS instead sense it is cheaper. I've come to realize that money is tighter than I thought. I may not buy any systems till January.

I might just get some cheap games instead for my current systems.

At least you fuckers are getting the bloody machine before December! Us euro-twats dont get it until 8th Dec (well at least in the UK). Gears of War is out over in yankiee land now as well as Viva Pinata coz of the PS3 launch. We dont get GOW til the 17th and Viva Pinata doesnt come out til 2nd Dec. Still, ive got Call of Duty 3 and Need for Speed Carbon to keep me occupied until the new Rainbow Six comes out on the 24th.

The DS is a really good machine, my missus has one. If you want really cheap stuff (well, its cheap for me in the UK & for Europe, not sure about the US though due to import charges etc.) then try out Play Asia. I get quite a lot of stuff from there to sell on ebay for massive profits!! I recently bought a limited edition Japanese Pokemon DS Lite console for £135 and sold it on ebay for £280! I can get region-free 360 games for £23.05 delivered to my door which is better than paying £40-50 in the shops!! Check it out, but dont expect to get anything from Sony if you live in Europe coz of grey importing regulations that Sony have in place.

Did anyone hear about the company that Sony pushed under recently? A website called lik-sang.com had to close up shop coz Sony sued them for importing game stuff into Europe, specifically PS3. Fony, sorry, Sony said that it was 'protecting' European gamers from getting a machine that used the wrong format of games and a different power supply. The reward being that Europe/Australia (anywhere that uses PAL format) gets the machine around March 07...which according to Gamespot isnt even set in stone. Apparently some Sony bloke let slip that its 'just a target'.
