Free Visual Studio (express edition)

microsoft offering a free tool, I wonder what the catch is?

I inquired about this in school and it's kind of stripped from what I hear, but it has a lot of the same features. I prefered to use the complete professional version, which is finally working now.

If anyone is interested in trying this express version out, let me know how it goes. I highly dout that it has an executable compilation feature unlike the complete version.
