Well now I have both Visual Studio and SQL Server 2005. I can finally do homework. I have missed like 3 homework assignments in my SQL class because I find it hard to spend only an hour a day learning something that requires at least 2-3 hours of typing so I became quite annoyed by the SQL class. I'm sure I'm currently at an F in that class so I'll be spending a lot of time playing catchup to hopefully bring myself up to a C.
Man I got a lot of work to do. I'll be spending the whole week trying to catchup to this shit. SQL is so tedious. It's not hard, it's just tedious. They make SQL Server 2005 screenshots a requirement of homework, showing successful execution of code, but they really don't teach much about the program. They don't teach how it's setup nor what it actually does. They only teach SQL syntax, which I find useless by itself. They should be teaching database setup before teaching database syntax, but whatever.
I'm having to self-teach myself SQL Server 2005. Good thing microsoft loaded that program with huge amounts of step by step help files or I would be screwed.
